About the Adventure
Russ is mad for this adventure. Having previously hiked the 650 mile Camino de Santiago de Compostella in 2011 before spending time in the West Highlands, he's eager to return to hills.
The West Highland Way is a 150 km (95 mile) route that attracts more than 15,000 hikers each year to its beauty. The Way starts just outside of Glasgow and finishes at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Scotland, alongside the charming Highland town of Fort William. The highlights of this trip include:
Hiking ancient and historic routes of the West Highland Way along Drove Roads, 18th Century Military Roads, and abandoned railway tracks
Enjoying spectacular views of the Scottish Highlands and exploring the charming Highland town of Fort William
Experiencing the grit, charm, and history of Scotland's largest city, Glasgow
